Remember that you cannot perform a timing belt change on a TDI without setting cam timing. And you cannot set cam timing without one of our tool kits. If you try to simply set TDC and remove and replace the belt without resetting cam timing you are using the "Mark and Pray" method which is likely to result in a broken belt and a damaged engine. At the very least you will have a poor running engine.
