For Race Pipe owners ONLY. The five speed kit is shown above. This is a complete kit to remove the EGR cooler on 1998-2003 New Beetle TDI and mid-1999 through 2003 Golf/Jetta TDI. Use of this kit makes the removal of the EGR cooler completely reversible. Kit includes one coolant hose, one brass 8mm coolant line splice/connector, one plastic OE firewall hose adapter and two copper exhaust nuts. This kit can only be used with the Dieselgeek Race Pipe and is meant for those people who simply want the EGR cooler out of the engine bay since it is not being used. Maintenance operations related to the turbo are easier with the EGR cooler out of the way.

Please note that there are no instructions sent with this kit. To install: The aluminum block off plate and stainless gasket that is included with the Race Pipe simply is removed from your EGR cooler and is swapped onto your exhaust manifold by using the supplied new copper nuts. The perfectly tailored large coolant hose mounts to the aluminum or plastic coolant flange on the end of the cylinder head and also attaches to the heater core flange at the firewall using the supplied OEM straight plastic adapter and the stock spring-type hose clamp from your original heater hose (5 spd only, automatic hoses are delivered pre-assembled with a new hose clamp). The supplied brass hose connector replaces the 8mm plastic coolant overflow "T" fitting which feeds the EGR cooler.
