MN3001 Metalnerd Socket for Bosch Triangular Bolt

This is the Metalnerd socket for the anti-tamper screw on all TDI injection pumps from 1996-2003. This socket is required to loosen and remove the triangular headed anti-tamper screw on the quantity adjuster's top cover as shown in the picture. Your 1/2" socket or wrench is used to drive this socket.

Viton Pump Head O-Ring Seal Kit

Cure that leaking TDI injection pump. This is an o-ring seal kit in Viton material for the TDI injection pump's cast iron "head". This o-ring fits all 1996-2003 TDI regardless of engine code. The o-ring goes between the aluminum pump body and the cast iron head.

This is the stock TDI fuel temp sensor for all 1996-2003 U.S. Spec TDI engines. Also known as the G81, this sensor has a direct effect on start of injection. A bad sensor can make your timing unstable. Replacement of this sensor requires the Metalnerd MN3001 triangular socket which is available above for $23.00. You will also need a top quantity adjuster seal which is contained in the $21.00 Bosch Seal Kit above.
