TDI injection pump seal kit

Our Price: $21.00

Product Code: PMP-FULLKIT

Description

Fix your leaking TDI injector pump's quantity adjuster seals with this Bosch TDI injection pump seal kit. Kit includes seals for all 1996-2003 TDI pumps for the North American market*. This kit includes the top and lower rectangular quantity adjuster seals which are made of Viton. The round green pump head seal in this kit is the less effective Buna rubber  (bottom left in picture above), not Viton. If you plan on replacing your pump head seal we highly recommend you purchase the $9.00 Viton pump head o-ring seal kit available separately below. Replacement of the two rectangular quantity adjuster seals requires the Metalnerd MN3001 triangular socket which is also available below. To get an idea of how to replace the quantity adjuster seals successfully we recommend you read this thread on TDI Club!

Again, if you plan on replacing the round head seal o-ring you should also buy the $9.00 Viton head seal kit shown below.

*The 17mm input shaft seal is not provided in this kit (TDI uses same 17mm input shaft seal as a Cummins diesel).

Quantity is now adjusted! October 24, 2011

Got this kit as part of an IP head seal job on my '02 Golf.  Shipped same day.  All parts performed as expected.  There is a how to video (DG may want to offer a link to this as well...).  All in all, the kit allowed me to save the $1200 plus labor the dealership will charge to replace an otherwise good pump.  I think we can all get on board with saving $.
