This part fits all 1999.5 through 2005 Jetta, 1999.5 through 2006 Golf and 1998 through 2005 New Beetle with the gasoline powered 2.0 liter four cylinder engine. The part clears the cast iron air pump manifold and is the only fix in existence for a 2.0 gas engine with a broken cast iron engine mounting ear.

Important Note:

There are two different brackets available. To order the correct bracket for your vehicle you must take a look at the exhaust manifold from underneath the engine bay. The exhaust manifold on most later 2.0 engines has an air pump "log" manifold that hangs down below the exhaust ports as shown in this picture and the picture above. If your manifold has the "log" then you likely have an AVH, AZG, BEV, BBW or late AEG engine code and will need to choose the "YES" option above. If you have the "log" type manifold and do not choose that option you will get the incorrect kit. As far as we know, the only engine without the log type exhaust manifold is the earlier production AEG engine which was used from 1998-2001. The engine code is printed on the upper timing belt cover sticker and on the build sticker under the carpet in the trunk area.

Kit comes with hardware to attach the bracket to the engine. A separate bolt kit is also available for the engine mount bracket and engine mount.
